Exchange vows surrounded by nature and those you love. For groups over 50, ceremonies take place in one of the many scenic and serene spots on the property and receptions are tented on the Main Lawn. Climate-controlled, elegant suites for the bridal party in the main house round out a perfect weekend.

Family and friends coming from out of town? Our couples have the very unique opportunity to rent out the entire, spectacular main house and/or The Apartment during their wedding weekend. We also rent individual suites if that is preferred to renting the entire home. Plenty of space for the entire bridal party to spend the weekend!

Planning a more intimate wedding? If your guest list is less than 50 people, a ceremony inside the house is an option. Opting to book the entire property for the weekend is a way to amplify to time together with those closest to you. Say your vows while being surrounded by the elegance and grace of this architectural gem!

Getting Ready

For the Bridesmaids...

Our 3-room Whitetail Suite is a bridal party's dream. A large, elegant suite with a king size sleigh bed, sweeping bay window views and separate sitting room. Also includes a spacious, vintage bathroom with separate tub and shower. A second suite with an additional vintage restroom is provided for hair/makeup. Plenty of space for all that beauty and CHAMPAGNE!

... and the Groomsmen

Our Billiard Room is a great spot to either chill out or get pumped for the big event! Big comfy couches, mini kitchen with sink and fridge, TV, a Bluetooth sound system, plus a vintage pool table that keeps everyone entertained. A separate entrance makes it easy to keep First Looks a surprise!

The House

The House offers many quiet spots for a private moment and perhaps more importantly, the Library, Grand Staircase, Dining Room and Solarium are a photographers dream! Check out our IG and FB to see more photos.

Your wedding guests are very welcome to tour the main house during the reception. Whenever possible, we are happy to give guided tours to tell you all about the home's amazing history and show you the Prohibition-era secret storage space!

Your Ceremony

Your Ceremony

Our grounds offer many different choices for you to design a ceremony that fits your vision. We have no shortage of beautiful views of the pasture and woods that surround the property. The Smokehouse and the Main House offer two additional options for your ceremony setting, one rustic and one more formal.

Your Reception

Party under the stars...

What's better than an open-air reception on a balmy summer evening? Or dancing under a canopy of twinkling lights with your friends and family. Outdoor receptions at the Christy House offer all this and more!


We also offer in-house reception options for smaller groups. (limited to less than 50 guests)

The Smokehouse

A Christy House Tradition...

Every couple married here is asked to carve their initials in our Smokehouse. We commemorate each carving with a plaque, so you can identify each carving in the years to come. We love seeing the collection grow with each year. 


Did someone say whiskey and cigars? Our Smokehouse is also a perfect spot for the wedding party to have a moment apart. Fire up the wood stove, light some candles, and make a toast or two before or after the big event!
